When such interference is present, signal processing and the like may not be performed as intended, thereby rendering the base station inoperable. As such, there is a need for an improved system and method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. There is a further need for an improved system and method for reducing high frequency noise in an electronic circuit. The present invention provides a system and method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. According to an exemplary embodiment, the system comprises a signal source coupled to the electronic circuit for transmitting a signal. A filter is coupled to the electronic circuit for receiving the signal and for generating an output signal. A controller is coupled to the filter for receiving the output signal from the filter and for generating a control signal based on the output signal. The controller may further comprise a comparator for comparing the output signal to a reference signal to generate the control signal. A power supply may be coupled to the controller for supplying power to the controller. The present invention further provides a method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. The method comprises transmitting a signal from a signal source to an electronic circuit. The signal is received by a filter, which generates an output signal.
