For example, in a radio base station, a signal coupled to a processing circuit, such as a modulator, from an antenna is often subject to interference as the signal is processed by the processing circuit. This interference can be due to transmission of unwanted signals, coupling of the unwanted signals to the processing circuit, or other sources. When such interference is present, signal processing and the like may not be performed as intended, thereby rendering the base station inoperable. As such, there is a need for an improved system and method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. There is a further need for an improved system and method for reducing high frequency noise in an electronic circuit. The present invention provides a system and method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. According to an exemplary embodiment, the system comprises a signal source coupled to the electronic circuit for transmitting a signal. A filter is coupled to the electronic circuit for receiving the signal and for generating an output signal. A controller is coupled to the filter for receiving the output signal from the filter and for generating a control signal based on the output signal. The controller may further comprise a comparator for comparing the output signal to a reference signal to generate the control signal. A power supply may be coupled to the controller for supplying power to the controller. The present invention further provides a method for reducing noise in an electronic circuit. The method comprises transmitting a signal from a signal source to an electronic circuit. The signal is received by a filter, which generates an output signal.
